Harris is a community of learners that teaches students to use a growth mindset each day! It is the idea that your abilities can be developed through dedication and hard work. It encourages a love of learning and a resilience that is essential for great accomplishment. Students are excited about the power of "yet".

This powerful idea is established through a classroom culture that promotes respectful discourse and collaboration. It allows students to cultivate WED's competencies for success. Students are given opportunities to grow as problem solvers, critical thinkers, researchers, effective communicators, creators, and reflective thinkers. These empower our learners to navigate all aspects of life successfully.

In addition, Harris uses the school wide expectations to "Bee Safe, Bee Kind, and Bee Responsible." These promote positive behaviors and create a safe school climate that allows students to thrive each day.
