Freshman Academy Mission Statement

The mission of Woonsocket High School’s Freshman Academy is to cultivate student accountability and engagement by providing high quality academic and social opportunities in a diverse, culturally positive, emotionally safe, and physically secure environment. Thus, ensuring a successful transition to high school by establishing a culture which aligns with our core values of Respect, Responsibility, Pride, and Family.

Freshman Academy Goals 2023-24

To ensure that students are safe and secure transition in their first year at the high school.
To build a sense of community and belonging.
To provide students with a supportive environment, both academically, socially, and emotionally.
