Office of Information Technology and Data Services

The office of information technology helps to support teachers, staff, and students utilize cutting-edge technology by maintaining a strong IT infrastructure as well as provide technical assistance for the twelve schools and administrative buildings within the Woonsocket Education Department.  

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Management of Student Information Systems
  • Management of Staff, Student, and Parent Accounts
  • State and Federal Reporting, including civil rights reporting
  • Support for Scheduling of Students
  • Software Management
  • Data Systems and Phones
  • Network Management
  • Hardware Management (asset/ inventory, maintenance, repair, installation, removal)
  • Operates/ Manages/ Monitors/ Documents the District's Wide/ Local Area Networks
  • Monitors and Maintains Backups And Archiving
  • Maintains Technology Capital Plan
  • Manages Work Order System
  • eRate
