Professional Development

WED recognizes that to cultivate such a community, we must provide teachers with ample PD opportunities to utilize these Competencies of Success in order to add to their own knowledge base to directly impact instruction while modeling the importance of being a lifelong learner.  To meet the needs of all professionals, we offer a variety of ways to access these opportunities.  Whether it be district-created Promising Practices sessions, workshops, online seminars, or large conferences, all staff members have access to one-on-one coaching to assist in the implementation of their learning. To ensure that all learning opportunities are directly rooted in district priorities, they must be associated with one of the 4 Stems of Professional Development.
