Mission Statement:
The mission of Harris School is to prepare each child to function
successfully in the 21st century. The school community will be committed
to instructional leadership, state-of-art teaching and learning techniques,
promotion of respect and concern for all people and their
environment.
Goals: #1 To create
a positive environment that encourages learning, Harris school must ensure that
school environment is safe and orderly.
We hope to achieve this goal through:
A. Funding for students, teachers, staff, and their parents in
assertive discipline and conflict resolution.
B. Standardized, building-wide rules and consequences.
Goals: #
2 All members of the school community –students, educators, staff, and parents
will collaborate in making decisions about improving our school, especially
teaching and learning processes
and environment.
A. Change of itinerate times for more collaboration of
teachers.
B. Look into adopt-a
school-possibilites.
C. Training for School Improvement Team.
D. Look into workshops or training including but not limited
to; Grant writing, inclusion,
ESL

core skills and knowledge required for success as a life long learner, and a
