Welcome to the Special Education Department!
We serve students from age three through age twenty-one. Our mission is to provide a broad spectrum of quality educational service options for students with disabilities requiring specially designed intervention, instruction, or related services. Woonsocket is committed to providing a free appropriate public education (FAPE) in the least restrictive environment with access to general education curriculum and programs. We promote improved educational outcomes for students through fostering collaborative relationships among students, families, educators and community partners.
